Then we get on a drive towards the trailhead at Sybrubensi. The trail enters the lush green forests which dominated the entirety of the valley. As we make our way to Lama Hotel before reaching Langtang village via Ghodatabela. Which offers us stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,227 m). Through dense forests filled with pine, fir, and rhododendron trees, we head up towards Kyanjin Gompa. Which is the oldest monastery of the region? Taking a day off for acclimatization and enjoying the stunning views from Kyanjin Gompa.
We make our way through the rocky Himalayan trail reaching Yala Peak Base Camp. The next day begins early making our way through the icy trail to reach the mountain summit of Yala Peak (5,500 m) offering stunning views of the Himalayas. Including Shishapangma (8,013 m) alongside countless peaks from the Tibetan side. Descending back, we head to the base camp before making our way down to Kyanjin Gompa. Entering the lush green forests once again. We head down to Lama Hotel and then ending our journey at Sybrubensi.
