The Everest Panorama Trek is an easy trekking experience that culminates at the Tengboche village in the Everest Region. Enjoy trekking through the foothills of the Mount Everest (8848m). The 12-day Everest Panorama Trek commences once you embark on a short Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.  A small mountainous village, Lukla serves as the gateway to the Everest region. The trekking along the Dudh Koshi River, As well as, You’ll cross Phakding and arrive at Monjo. Which is the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park?  Continue trekking along the lush vegetation of the park and reach Namche Bazaar.  One of the highlights of the trek. Namche Bazaar is the largest and the most populated village in the entire region. From here, you’ll take a detour and advance towards Phortse village.

A short uphill trek will take you directly to Tengboche.  Tengboche is known as the home of Monastery.  One of the highest and biggest Buddhist in Khambhu region. The monastery also hosts the annual Mani Rimdu festival as well.  You can catch the beautiful sights of the Mt. Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), and Ama Dablam (6856m) from the Tengboche Monastery.  From here, you’ll begin descending towards the Khumjung monastery to witness the supposed Yeti scalp preserved inside a glass box.  The trek concedes upon your return to Lukla via Phakding.  Everest Panorama Trek remains accessible during spring (Mar-Jun) and autumn (Sep-Nov).

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

You will enter Nepal along with the views of the Himalayas. You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport where our representative will welcome you. Exiting the airport, you will drive all the way to your hotel. You can head out to explore the attractions in the valley or choose to rest.

Day 2
Kathmandu – Lukla (2,840m) – Phakding (2,610m)

After early breakfast, you’ll drive to the airport with your trek guide and embark on a short flight towards Lukla Domestic Airport in Solukhumbu. The scenic flight lasts for around 35 minutes and takes you over the lushly forested hills of eastern Nepal. Lukla serves as the gateway to the Everest region. After a brief rest, you’ll begin trekking and advance towards Phakding village located south of Lukla.

Day 3
Phakding (2,610m) – Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

The second day of the trek, you’ll leave Phakding and trek towards Namche Bazaar. You’ll continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Monjo village that serves as the entry and exit of Sagarmatha National Park. You’ll obtain the permit and continue trekking through the UNESCO enlisted natural world heritage site. Easy stone-steps will lead you directly to Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Day 4
Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

An acclimatization day, you’ll spend the time exploring Namche Bazaar. Namche remains the highlight of this trek. The largest Sherpa village in the region, Namche boasts of the most amount of lodges, shops, restaurants, and bars. Most tourists prefer Namche over other villages also because of its vibrant nightlife. You can choose to make a short hike to the nearby village of Khunde that is home to Edmund Hillary School, the largest school in the entire region

Day 5
Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – Phortse (3,600m)

Leaving Namche, you’ll take a detour and trek through the forested path towards Phortse village. En route, you’re likely to witness Himalayan pheasants, musk deer, and Himalayan Thar. You’ll begin descending to Kyangjuma village and head towards Sanasa. The trail leads you to the Phortse Village. Along the way, you can enjoy the glimpse of Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m), and Taboche (6367m).

Day 6
Phortse (3,600m) – Tengboche (3,850m)

Leaving Phortse, you’ll continue trekking along the lushly decorated Rhododendron forest towards Tengboche. Tengboche lies southeast towards the Imja River and crosses it. You’ll reach a stone path and continue trekking towards Pangboche village. After a brief lunch, you’ll make a short descent and trek towards Dudh Koshi River before ascending up again to Tengboche village.

Day 7
Tengboche (3,850m) – Khumjung Village (3,900m)

The day will be spent exploring Tengboche Village and Tengboche Monastery. The beautiful sight of Ama Dablam (6856m) will be visible from Tengboche. Afterward, you’ll leave Tengboche and head towards Khumjung. Khumjung is home to Khumjung monastery that has preserved the supposed scalp of Yeti inside a glass box. After this unique visit to the monastery, you’ll head back to your hotel. You can catch the spectacular views of Ama Dablam (6856m) and Kangtega (6779m) en route.

Day 8
Khumjung Village (3,900m) – Phakding (2,610m)

Leaving Khumjung, you’ll make your way down along the Dudh Koshi River. Continuing southwards to Namche Bazaar, you’ll rejoin along the classic Everest Trail and walk past Monjo to arrive at Phakding village. Although it may take a while to descend to Phakding, the trek will be comparatively easier.

Day 9
Phakding (2,6100m) – Lukla (2,840m)

Leaving Phakding, you’ll make your way back to Lukla. Retracing your path, you’ll make a downhill trek along the Dudh Koshi River. You can catch some of the beautiful views of the mountains for the last time before arriving at Lukla. Once at Lukla, you can choose to take a stroll around the market or simply rest. The evening is generally spent partying with your friends and staffs.

Day 10
Lukla - Kathmandu

This is the last that you’ll see the Everest range up-close. Bidding adieu, you’ll embark on a short flight back to Kathmandu, and upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can choose to take a stroll around the vicinity, shop for a souvenir or simply relax.

Day 11
Free Day at Kathmandu

Today is a free day, so you can choose to take a stroll around the vicinity enjoying the local sceneries, meals and shopping handicrafts to take back home. If you wish, you can take a scenic sightseeing tour of the historical Kathmandu city and witness some of the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Day 12
Kathmandu – Departure

As your exciting trip in Nepal comes to end, you can feel free to shop for gifts and souvenirs. According to your departure flight, you can also explore the city. Later, a company representative will take you back to the airport for your scheduled flight to the next destination.
