Tribhuvan International Airport your arrival in Nepal is marked by the Himalayas. We spend a day in the valley to prepare for the expedition, gather equipment, and procure necessary permits. Leaving the Kathmandu Valley, the journey kicks off in style heading towards Lukla.
The Lukla Airport hosts one of the most thrilling airstrips around the world. Setting off on the classic Everest Base Camp Trek Trail, the trek begins from Lukla heading towards Phakding.
The next day takes us along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River to reach Namche Bazaar. We shall spend some time at Namche and in the meantime. Shall explore its landmarks like Khumjung monastery and Hotel Everest View. From here, we make our way to Debuche and after learning some Sherpa culture there we head to Pheriche.
Our trail goes through Pangboche and the Dudh Koshi River. Before finally arriving at the Ama Dablam Base Camp. The next 2 weeks take us through steep and icy pathways as we begin our rigorous ascends and descends up the Himalayas.
After traversing through the checkpoints of Camp 1, 2, and 3, we reach the summit of the Ama Dablam (6856m). From here, we make our way back to Lukla and ultimately to Kathmandu where this 30-day trip shall end.
