-We will meet you at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. When you have had your time to settle in and fresh up after your long fight, you will be invited to visit our office/hotel lobby for a briefing about your program. You will have meeting with your trekking guide and discuss about the equipment needed for the trekking and we will process for the trekking permits. During this visit we will help you check your equipment and facilitate the processing of other necessary items such as National Park Permits, special permits etc. If you arrive at night we will have same discussion in next day morning after your breakfast.
2. Flight to Biratnagar and drive to Basantpur
-50 minutes flight from Kathmandu offers stunning views of the entire trek and the Himalaya from Kangchenjunga to Langtang. The 120km drive is equally spectacular and takes us to the end of the road at Basantpurlocated on the ridge above TanmayaKhola and through spectacular hills and serpentine road with 100 hairpin turns passing through the town of Hille beside the mighty Arun River.
3.Trek to Chauki
-First 3km until Tunde will be on major trek servicing Arun and Tamur valleys with lots of locals travelling along to Chainpur, a major trading town in the area. We pass few villages along the way Dhoor Pani, Tinjure Danda and Tinjure Phedi with stunning views of Kanchenjunga and the Makalu ranges and travelling through Rhododendron forest.
4. Trek to Gupha Pokhari
-We follow undulating trail through the Milke Danda Range to beautiful Gupha Pokhari (natural pond).The trail follows mainly through Rhododendron forest being in full bloom of rich bright red color clusters of flowers in April and May. At high points of the trail we gain beautiful panoramic views of Calming, Mera, Makalu and Kanchenjunga.
5. Trek To Dobhan
-It is a long day today but it is all downhill to riverside village of Dhoban located at the junction of two rivers (a literal meaning in Nepali) the Maihwa Khola and the TamurKoshi. We will pass Gurja Sherpa village, where we stop for lunch.
6.Trek to Mitlung
-For next 3 days we trek in the TamorNadi River valley staring at low point of 660m and reaching 1650m in Sekathum. The deep valley and heavy monsoon rainfalls make the trail wet and muddy until we reach elevation of 1000m after Mitlung. We will be walking along the river and in the rainforest with rich birdlife creating really stupendous character for the section.
7. Trek to Chirwa
-This is amazingly spectacular section in the deep Himalayan river gorge with spectacular cliffs and thundering sound of mighty torrent amplified by the gorge geometry. We will walk sections of dense subtropical forest and through the narrow valley with the local villages above. When the valley opens we will go through villages inhibited by traditional owners of Limbu ethnicity, subsistence growing crops such as rice, millet, barley, wheat and corn for 2000 years with subtropical climate fields are very productive for most of the year.
8. Trek to Sekathum
-we continue our trek through the Tamor Nadi valley, which turns into Ghunsariver past Simbuwa Khola just before Sekathum, a tributary originating from Yalung glacier. The scenery transform slowly while the valley opens more and more.
9. Trek to Amjilasha
-It is a shorter walk today 6km but we gain almost 900m elevation and mostly at the end of the day before our camping spot in Amjilasha. The trail narrows and follows the Ghunsa River to open again when we start climbing towards Amjilasha. The ethnicity changes here and we will see more high elevation favoring Sherpa and Tibetan folks.
10. Trek to Gyabla
-Day through isolated section of the trail with no villages and walking through a dense forest, this is easier day comparatively than others days.
11. Trek to Ghunsa
-We cross 3000m/10000ft elevation threshold and will maintain comfortable pace to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Half way between Gyabla and Ghunsa there is a Tibetan village of Phole where we stop for a relaxing lunch. It is a nice place to touch the Tibetan Buddhist culture and to visit a welcoming monastery.
12.Rest day in Ghunsa
-After 9 days of walking Sherpa village of Ghunsa is a perfect place for a rest and to soak 3400m elevation before trekking to the north base camp. Ghunsa is the last permanent settlement on the way to the base camp.
13.Trek to Kambachen
-Over next 3 days we explore one of the most magnificent glacial valleys in Nepal if not in entire Himalayas. We will walk on the moraine and the glacier from Lhonak. We will camp today at the bottom of Jannu Glacier with direct view of Kanchenjunga massif and Jannu, a truly awe inspiring experience. This is a very remote area and not unusual to see some wildlife such as blue sheep, ibex, mountain goat or smaller animals among the rocks such as hyrax and marmots and birds of prey above eagle, kites and falcons.
14. Trek to Lhonak
-The terrain is desolate high altitude glacier with no villages or houses. Trail climbs gradually through moraine debris and with the elevation it makes the hike slower. The glacier starts around Ramtangat 4240m andthe trail continues on its north side with Lhonak located at the junction of Lhonak and Kanchenjunga glaciers and surrounded by stunning mountains abound in all directions.
15. Explore Pangpema Base camp
-This will be our day to explore Kanchenjunga north base camp area. The base camp is called Pang Pema. The area is visited by few trekkers’ climbers so there is not enough traffic to create the path. We will explore the glacier area as much as possible.
16. Return to Ghunsa
-Returning to Ghunsa allows retracing our previous days with different perspective of the trail and the scenery around.
17. Trek to Sele Lapass
-From Ghunsa, we ascent is along the trail used by local people walking through thick forest of birch, pine and rhododendron possibly covered by snow.
18. Trek to Tseram & cross Mirgin-La
-Challenging trek today with a steep 400m climb to Mirgin-La Pass with tremendous view of Jannu Himal as well as Makalu, Baruntse, Chamlang Kanchenjunga, Kabru and the Himalayan range along Sikkim border followed by the walk along ridges with a final descent to Tseram.
19. Trek to Ramche and Octangand Yalung Glacier, walk
-Today we explore Yalung glacier, we start early to reach Ramche where we set-up our overnight camp. After lunch, we trek towards Octang 7km away with elevation gain of 300m, the view point of Kanchenjunga and a stunningly beautiful amphitheatre of impressive peaks Rothang and Kabru on the Nepal/Sikkim border.
20. Trek to Tortong
-We trek an easy trail along Simbua Khola through varieties of pine and rhododendron forests, descending all the way to Tortong.
21. Trek to Yamphudim
-This is tough section of out trek; it is prone to landslides making it difficult to hike. There is also 600m climb to the3500m Lamite pass.
22. Trek to Khebang
-Trek passes through the beautiful villages of Chhetri and Brahmins. Today we will cross 2 passes.
23. Trek to Phakholing
-This is long day with 1000m drop over 6km to Dobhan for our lunch stop and another 8km of undulating but straightforward village path to the village.
24. Trek to Tharpu
-Last day of trekking finished with 1200m climb to village of Tharpu. We will take it easy and enjoy last glimpses of Kanchenjunga range and final mountain sunsets from vantage point of the village to complete this incredibly exhilarating trek.
25. Drive to Bhadrapur
-There is are only 190km to the airport at Bhadrapur but road cuts through a 7 narrow ranges with over 100 hairpin turns and endless windings so with average speed of less than 30kmh it takes some 9h to arrive Bhadrapur. Despite being tiring it is a rewarding trip.
26. Fly to Kathmandu
-In clear weather there is the opportunity to view some of the most impressive peaks of the Himalayan range as we take our flight back to Kathmandu. The afternoon is at leisure.
27.Sightseeing in world heritage side.
-In sightseeing you can visit in those place are world heritage side in Nepal which is registered in UNESCO. Most of attraction things are historical, architectural, arts, Religion,Cultural,langues and many more things.At evening we will have meeting and consult about trek and takes feedback from you.
28. Your Departure
-We will drop you at airport. After get in airport on your departure we give you Certificate of your adventure and token of love from our company.
