Trip Overview

Ghorapani-Poonhill trek- Ace vision trek & ToursAnnapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is not a hard trek .This trek is short and sweet trek in Annapurna region. This trail is basically loop around ghandruk ,ghorepani and can be approached both ways beginning either in Phedi or Nayapul. If you would like to begin in Phedi you will trek to Landruk ,cross the Modi River and on the way Kyumi to Landruk ,and other point Nayapul. If you will start from Nayapul your trail will go through Syauli Bazaar and Keumi and then way towards ghandruk village.

Ghandruk village is inhabited by Gurung ,which is worth spending  day here. Visit the Gurung cultural museum in the village and enjoy fabulous views of annapurna south’s peak. From ghandruk you will be follow a forested path to Tadapani then head west to ghorepani.

Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is the most important view point of this trek as you will able to see magnificent panorama view of  Dhaulagiri ,Annapurna peaks and many super-nice peaks of Himalayan .

It is also very sought of the view point to catch of sunrise in a clean morning and sun set view in the evening . At that time you will  see colors of the sun light in the mountain . This place is the garden of the heaven when the very first rays of the early sun strike the mountains which begin to glow like gold.

Annapurna Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is great way to spent a time with family as well. If you are thinking to being together with family for a time and connect with them then this trek is good for you rather than others things.

This trek play big role on your life for make you cool ,peaceful ,understand nature and being a real human.A beautiful Nature view ,water falls ,colorful jungle view ,sounds of birds singing and playing a game of animals makes you more happy.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 1st: Your Arrival (Pick you up at airport and drop to hotel)
  • Day 2nd :Sightseeing in Kathmandu city/day tour
  • Day 3rd: Drive to Pokhara or Fly to Pokhara
  • Day 4th: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Thikhedhunga
  • Day 5th: Trek to Ghorepani
  • Day 6th: Early in the morning hike to Poonhill and then trek to Tadapani
  • Day 7th: Trek to Ghandruk
  • Day 8th: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara
  • Day 9th: Sightseeing in Pokhara
  • Day 10th: Back to Kathmandu by Drive or Fly
  • Day 11th: Your Departure

Detail Itinerary

Day 1st: Your Arrival (Pick you up at airport and drop to hotel

At first we will pick you up from airport and drop to you hotel. And in evening of day we will meet for ordination, collect your passport photocopy and Introduce with Guide.

Day 2nd: Sightseeing in Kathmandu city/day tour

Second day you will do day tour in world heritage area in Nepal. Especially you can visit in Swayambhunath (monkey temple), Pashupati nath, Patan durbar square and Boudanath then back to hotel.

Day 3rd: Drive to Pokhara or Fly to Pokhara

At third day you will head to Pokhara for start your trek. Pokhara is beautiful city in Nepal. You can stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 4th: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Thikhedhunga

You will go to Nayapul by drive from Pokhara. Nayapul is beginning point of trek. You will takes couple of minute and start your trek. You can takes approximately 5 hours to get in Thikhedhunga. Thikhedhunga is 1540m high above the sea level.

  Day 5th: Trek to Ghorepani

You can take approx. 5/6 hours to get in Ghorepani. Beginning 2 hours you have to climb around 3000 steps. Middle of the way of uphill you can see first view or mountain Annapurna south which is 7219m high above the sea level. After climbed the uphill you can get in Ulleri village. From there you see really beautiful nature view including white snow cap mountain- Annapurna south. You may takes cup of tea in there. After then you can get in Banthati. Banthati is lunch place of your hiking day. If weather is clear you can see beautiful Mountain View-Mt .fishtail. And then you will take three hours to get in your accommodation.

Ghorepani is famous trekking destination in Nepal. You can see panoramic Mountain View from there. You can see 15 white snow-cap mountains including picks and 7th, 10th highest mountain in the world.

Day 6th: Early in the morning hike to Poonhill and then trek to Tadapani

On this day you have to weak up early in the morning due to catch up beautiful sunrise view from Poonhill. Poonhill is view point of this trek and 3210m high above the sea level. From where you can see magnificent view of everything! After exploring a time in there you will back to hotel. You will take breakfast and head to Tadapani.

Tadapani also famous place for view of mountain and nature! You can see very close to mountain from there.

Day 7th: Trek to Ghandruk

Ghandruk is home for more than 2000 ethnic Gurung tribes as well as other minorities including Kami Damai and Chhetri Bahun. the panoramic views of Ghandruk begins amid networks of terraced farmland from the gorge up towards west leading to the beautiful slate roofed village houses bordered by spectacular rhododendron forest to the west.

Surrounded by beautiful forests, hills and mountains, Ghandruk is home to a large number of indigenous species of plants, trees, and flowers as well as beautiful birds and mammals. The rhododendron forest between Ghandruk and Ghorepani is regarded as one of the largest rhododendron forest in the world; the spectacular view of the forest during the spring when the flowers bloom is breath taking. Similarly, the Modi Gorge is home for hundreds of bird species therefore popular for bird watchers.

Day 8th: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara

This day is last days in Mountain during of this day. On the way downward to Pokhara even you can see very beautiful view. You cannot wait to come again to visit in this place. After you reach in Nayapul, you will drive back to Pokhara by car and stay overnight in hotels.

Day 9th: Sightseeing in Pokhara

In day 9, you can do sightseeing in Pokhara valley. Pokhara valley is surrounding by Lakes, jungle and Mountains. You can do boat in lakes visit to temple and monastery (THE WORLD PEACE PAGODA)

Day 10th: Drive back to Kathmandu

You will drive back to Kathmandu by bus. It takes around 5/6 hours to get in Kathmandu. Bus will be stop on the way to KTM for lunch and break. After get in Kathmandu you will stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 11th: You’re Departure

This day we will drop you at airport from your stayed hotel. And would be last day of your holidays of this time of Nepal!
